Job Summary
A chic all-day restaurant on the Al Khobar waterfront opening this autumn as the first Saudi site for a concept already running internationally.
You lead the kitchen for a new opening and bring the culinary concept to life. French Mediterranean cuisine is the foundation light seasonal and ingredient-led.
What the role covers
- Lead the daily kitchen operation and own the standards set by the brand executive chef
- Build lead and develop a brigade of around thirty
- Manage food cost portion control and waste with rigour
- Own supplier relationships purchasing and stock levels
- Hold quality and hygiene standards without exception
What were looking for
- Proven Head Chef experience ideally including a pre-opening
- A French or Mediterranean cooking foundation
- A leader who develops junior chefs rather than only directing them
- Fluent English; another European language is an asset
