Project Manager Civil & Track

Job Summary

Project Management

• Lead the execution of railway civil and track construction projects from initiation through completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules budgets resource plans and execution strategies.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions where required.
• Ensure project delivery aligns with client requirements contractual obligations and company objectives.

Civil & Track Construction Management

• Manage all civil works activities including earthworks structures drainage foundations and railway-related infrastructure.
• Oversee track installation activities including ballast sleepers rails turnouts and associated track components.
• Ensure compliance with approved designs specifications and construction standards.
• Coordinate construction interfaces between civil track signalling telecommunications and systems teams.

Stakeholder Management

• Maintain effective communication with clients consultants contractors and regulatory authorities.
• Lead project meetings and provide progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Resolve technical commercial and operational issues affecting project performance.

Health Safety & Environment (HSE)

• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across the project.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and project-specific safety requirements.
• Lead investigations of incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Commercial & Contract Management

• Monitor project costs and ensure financial targets are achieved.
• Manage variations claims and contractual correspondence.
• Review subcontractor performance certifications and payment applications.

Quality Management

• Ensure all works comply with approved quality plans and inspection requirements.
• Monitor testing commissioning and handover activities.
• Ensure project documentation is maintained and handed over in accordance with client requirements.

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and subcontractors.
• Mentor engineers and site management personnel.
• Drive team performance and promote continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications :

Education

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Masters Degree in Engineering or Project Management is preferred.

Professional Certifications

• PMP (Project Management Professional) preferred.
• PRINCE2 certification is an advantage.
• SCE Registration (Saudi Council of Engineers) preferred for projects in Saudi Arabia.
