Role Description The Dive Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Thuwal, responsible for supporting underwater operations and equipment maintenance for marine and coastal facilities. Day-to-day tasks include preparing, inspecting, and maintaining diving gear and related marine equipment, ensuring all tools and systems meet safety and operational standards. The Dive Technician assists in underwater inspections, cleaning, repairs, and installation tasks, working closely with diving teams and supervisors to execute planned operations. The role involves documenting maintenance activities, reporting equipment issues, and adhering to relevant safety, environmental, and quality procedures. The Dive Technician also collaborates with other technical staff to coordinate schedules, mobilize resources, and support efficient facility operations. Qualifications Relevant technical skills in diving operations, including familiarity with diving equipment, underwater tools, and basic marine maintenance procedures. Strong understanding of safety protocols and environmental practices, ideally with exposure to ISO or similar quality and environmental management standards. Ability to read and follow technical instructions, work with checklists, and accurately document maintenance and inspection activities. Effective teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with divers, supervisors, and other technical staff in a multi-disciplinary environment. Physical fitness and ability to work in demanding on-site marine conditions, including adherence to health and safety requirements. Prior experience in marine, coastal, or facilities maintenance environments is an advantage. Relevant certifications in diving or underwater operations, and basic technical or vocational education in a related field are preferred.
