Job description

The Structural Engineer role within our real estate development organization offers an opportunity to support the design, review, and delivery of safe and high-quality structural solutions across our projects. The role will work closely with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure structural designs and construction activities meet project requirements, applicable codes, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in structural engineering, preferably within real estate development, construction, or engineering consultancy.

Responsibilities:

1. Review and assess structural designs, drawings, calculations, and technical submissions.
2. Coordinate with consultants and contractors to resolve structural and technical issues.
3. Ensure compliance with approved designs, project specifications, and applicable codes.
4. Monitor structural works and provide technical support during project execution.
5. Review material submittals, method statements, and shop drawings.
6. Support project teams in identifying and resolving structural risks and design changes.
7. Maintain technical documentation and provide regular project updates.

Skills

• 8+ years of experience in structural engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Experience in real estate development, construction, or engineering consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of structural design principles and applicable building codes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural analysis/design software.
• Strong technical review and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Experience working with consultants and contractors.
