Chef De Partie Baker

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef de Partie Baker to join our culinary team in Jeddah Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our kitchen staff you will be responsible for creating a wide range of highquality baked goods including bread pastries and desserts while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and presentation.

• Prepare and bake a variety of breads pastries and desserts according to recipes and quality standards
• Develop and test new recipes to expand our menu offerings
• Manage the daily production schedule to ensure timely delivery of baked goods
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to food safety regulations
• Train and supervise junior bakers and kitchen staff
• Collaborate with the culinary team to create cohesive menu items
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients and supplies as needed
• Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients and finished products
• Adapt recipes to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergen requirements
• Participate in menu planning and cost control initiatives

Qualifications :

• Culinary degree or diploma in baking and pastry arts
• Minimum 35 years of experience as a baker or pastry chef in a highvolume kitchen or bakery
• Proficiency in various baking techniques including bread making pastry preparation and dessert creation
• Strong knowledge of food safety principles and current food safety certification
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Creativity and passion for developing new recipes and flavor combinations
• Understanding of Middle Eastern and international baking traditions
• Knowledge of dietary restrictions and allergen management
• Willingness to work in Jeddah Saudi Arabia; familiarity with local ingredients and flavors is advantageous
• Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings evenings and weekends as required
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs)
