Role Summary

The Spa Therapist plays a supporting role in the Spa functions at EDITION hotels. This full-time position involves delivering a range of services to ensure guests have a memorable experience. The role requires initiative and adherence to established service standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Promoting Spa services or retail products.
• Scheduling reservations and confirming appointments for guests.
• Providing information and answers regarding available Spa services.
• Checking in guests for their appointments.
• Processing payments for services rendered.
• Creating a safe workplace environment.
• Following all company policies and procedures.
• Upholding quality standards in all aspects of service.
• Ensuring a professional uniform, personal appearance, and communication style.
• Managing reservation software, including reading and visually verifying information.
• Performing physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance and 25 pounds with assistance.
• Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Performing other reasonable job duties as requested by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
• High school diploma or * equivalent is preferred.
• No related work experience is required (0-1 years of experience).
• No supervisory experience is required.
• No specific license or certification is required.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position within the Spa department of an EDITION hotel. The role requires interaction with guests and adherence to a professional service environment.
