Pay

8,000 EGP per completed book of approximately 15–20 pages.

Important: This is a project-based payment and not a weekly salary. The weekly salary option was selected only because it was required by Indeed.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented and creative Children’s Book Illustrator to work on engaging storybooks for children aged 2–7 years.

Each book will typically contain 20–25 pages, with approximately 3–5 lines of text per page and one full-colour illustration per page, plus a front cover illustration.

This role is specifically for a Children’s Book Illustrator. Applicants must have previous experience or a strong portfolio demonstrating children’s storybook-style illustrations.

Responsibilities & Requirements

• Create colourful, engaging, and child-friendly illustrations.
• Design expressive characters and maintain character consistency throughout the book.
• Create suitable backgrounds and story scenes based on the manuscript.
• Follow creative briefs and incorporate reasonable revisions and feedback.
• Provide high-resolution, print-ready artwork.
• Previous experience in children’s book illustration is preferred.
• Strong character design and visual storytelling skills.
• Ability to meet agreed project deadlines.
• Experience with Islamic or educational children’s content is an advantage.
