We’re Hiring: Lead Dev Ops Engineer. ALSERRY is seeking an experienced **Lead Dev Ops Engineer** to lead the design, implementation, and operation of secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure and CI/CD environments.
- Responsibilities:• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS and/or Azure.• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.• Manage Docker and Kubernetes environments.• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.• Establish Dev Ops, security, and operational best practices.• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, deployment, and production issues.• Lead technical initiatives and mentor Dev Ops engineers.• Improve automation, reliability, performance, scalability, and cloud cost efficiency.
- Required Qualifications:• 7+ years of experience in Dev Ops, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or a related field.• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure.• Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, Jenkins, or Azure Dev Ops.• Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, networking, and cloud security.• Strong scripting skills using Python, Bash, Power Shell, or similar.• Strong leadership, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.⚠️ Fluent professional English is mandatory, both written and verbal ⚠️⚠️ Must currently reside in Egypt ⚠️⚠️ Must be available to work U. S. Eastern Time (EST/EDT) business hours ⚠️️⚠️Must be comfortable working in a fully remote environment ⚠️
- Preferred Qualifications:• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Cloud Watch.• Experience designing highly available and disaster-resilient cloud environments.• Experience leading or mentoring Dev Ops/SRE engineers.• Knowledge of cloud cost optimization and Fin Ops practices.• Experience implementing Dev Sec Ops and security automation.• Relevant AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, or Terraform certifications.• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
