The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic advisor and consultant to business leaders in the Cairo, Egypt branch. This role is responsible for aligning HR strategies with business objectives, driving people initiatives, and providing end-to-end HR support across the employee lifecycle. The HRBP acts as a bridge between the HR function and business units, ensuring effective implementation of HR policies, programs, and practices that foster organizational growth and employee engagement.
Key Roles & Responsibilities Strategic HR Partnership Partner with business leaders to understand organizational goals and develop HR strategies that support business objectives. Provide strategic counsel on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent management. Employee Relations & Engagement Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent resolution of workplace issues. Design and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance retention and workplace satisfaction. Talent Management & Development Drive talent acquisition, succession planning, and career development programmes in collaboration with business leaders. Identify skill gaps and coordinate learning and development interventions. Performance Management Lead the performance management cycle, including goal setting, mid-year reviews, and annual appraisals. Coach managers on performance improvement plans and feedback delivery. HR Policy & Compliance Ensure compliance with Egyptian labor laws and internal HR policies and procedures. Advise management on HR-related legal and regulatory matters. Compensation & Benefits Support compensation benchmarking and salary review processes. Provide guidance on benefits administration and total rewards strategy. HR Analytics & Reporting Leverage HR data and analytics to provide insights on workforce trends, turnover, and headcount planning. Prepare regular HR reports and dashboards for leadership review. Change Management Support organizational change initiatives by developing communication plans and stakeholder engagement strategies. Facilitate smooth transitions during restructuring, mergers, or process changes.
Qualifications
Minimum Education MBA or BBA in Human Resources
Minimum Experience7-10 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in an HRBP or generalist role
Technical Competencies Oracle HCM – Proficient in Oracle Human Capital Management for HR operations, employee data management, and reporting. Microsoft Excel – Advanced proficiency in data analysis, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and HR metrics tracking. Power BI – Ability to create and interpret HR dashboards and data visualizations for workforce analytics. Egyptian Labor Law – Working knowledge of local employment regulations and compliance requirements. HR Policies & Procedures – Strong understanding of end-to-end HR processes and best practices.
Behavioral Competencies Negotiation Skills – Ability to negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. Stakeholder Management – Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders and cross-functional teams. Communication – Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic. Problem Solving – Analytical mindset with the ability to identify root causes and develop practical solutions. Adaptability – Flexibility to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic business environment.
