WE ARE HIRING – EXPORT MANAGER
Fresh Fruits & Vegetables
AHL EXPORT 2A2B is looking for an experienced Export Manager – Fresh Fruits & Vegetables to join our team in Egypt.
We are looking for a commercially driven professional with strong experience in the export of Egyptian fresh produce and the ability to develop international markets, acquire new customers, and manage export sales from quotation through shipment and payment collection.
Key Responsibilities
Develop export sales for fresh fruits and vegetables.
Identify and acquire new international customers, including importers, distributors, wholesalers, supermarket chains, hotels and food-service companies.
Develop new markets in Africa, GCC, Indian Ocean markets, Europe and other international destinations.
Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers.
Prepare export quotations and negotiate prices, payment terms and contracts.
Monitor international market prices, competitors, seasons and customer demand.
Coordinate with procurement, farms, packing stations, quality control, logistics and documentation teams.
Manage air and sea freight export orders from confirmation until delivery.
Follow up on customer payments and collections.
Prepare regular sales forecasts, customer pipelines and market reports for management.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in fresh fruit & vegetable export sales.
Proven experience in exporting Egyptian agricultural products.
Existing knowledge of international fresh-produce buyers and markets is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of Incoterms (EXW, FOB, CFR, CIF), export documentation, air freight and sea freight.
Good understanding of fresh-produce quality, specifications, packaging and cold-chain requirements.
Excellent English communication and negotiation skills.
Strong sales and business-development skills.
Ability to achieve sales and collection targets.
Willingness to travel internationally when required.
