Senior Full-Stack Developer – React, Node.js & SQL Server

We are looking for a genuinely hands-on Full-Stack Developer who can take complete ownership of features across the frontend, backend, database, testing, and deployment. This is not a frontend-only or backend-only position.

Key Responsibilities

• Own software features end-to-end, from technical design and implementation to testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support.
• Build responsive and accessible user interfaces using React, TypeScript, AstroJS, Tailwind CSS, and reusable component patterns.
• Develop scalable backend services and REST APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Design and optimize Microsoft SQL Server queries, views, stored procedures, and database structures.
• Apply SSR, SSG, lazy loading, Astro Island Architecture, optimistic UI updates, and other performance optimization techniques.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues across the frontend, backend, database, and infrastructure layers.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in system design, technical decision-making, code reviews, and Agile delivery.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and reliable software deployments.
• Collaborate effectively with product, design, and engineering stakeholders.
• Mentor other developers and contribute to improving engineering standards.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong, recent, hands-on experience with both frontend and backend development.
• Advanced experience with React.js, TypeScript, and modern frontend architecture.
• Strong backend development experience using Node.js with Express, NestJS, or a similar framework.
• Strong Microsoft SQL Server experience, including complex queries, views, stored procedures, indexing, and query optimization.
• Experience designing, consuming, and troubleshooting REST APIs.
• Solid understanding of system design, software architecture, scalability, security, and performance.
• Proven ability to investigate and resolve production issues independently.
• Experience with testing, Git workflows, and code review practices.
• Ability to own deliverables and communicate technical decisions clearly.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Availability for full-time remote work aligned with Saudi Arabia working hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• Production experience with AstroJS or strong experience with comparable SSR/SSG frameworks.
• Experience with Prisma ORM.
• Experience with Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, and Nanostores.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with frontend accessibility and advanced performance optimization.
• Previous experience mentoring developers or leading technical delivery.

Important

This position requires full-stack ownership. Candidates whose professional experience is primarily limited to frontend or backend development without substantial hands-on responsibility across both sides may not be suitable.
