Sales Engineer. Fresh Grads

· Location : Alexandria, Egypt (field-based — Borg el Arab, A`amerya,Sadat City)

For 30+ years, IDM has supplied Egypt’s heavy industry with the lubricants, filtration, and repair solutions that keep production lines, fleets, and heavy equipment running — including Schaeffer, a globally

recognized name in industrial lubrication. We’re growing our field sales team and looking for Sales Engineers who want to build their own territory, not just manage an account list.

What You’ll Do ?

· Own a territory: identify and visit prospective industrial, marine/petroleum, construction, and fleet customers — not just service existing accounts.

· Sell our core product lines : advanced lubricants, fuel and oil filters, filtration units, and repair welding

alloys for industrial machinery, trucks, buses, generators, construction

equipment, hydraulics, and turbines.

· Run on-site workshop visits and hands-on field demonstrations, including cost-feasibility studies and

trial installations - Diagnose mechanical issues on customer

equipment and recommend the right IDM product or repair solution.

Build proposals, negotiate pricing, and follow through on delivery, repairs, and payment - Report results back to customers and to IDM to keep growing the relationship.

What We’re Looking For ?

· A degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)

· 0–5 years in sales, mechanical engineering, or maintenance-related roles.

· Comfortable being in the field daily (workshops, plants, job sites) rather than at a desk

· Own a car and are based in or near Cairo

· Strong communicator who’s motivated by solving technical problems and closing deals, not just relationship-servicing.

· Bonus: exposure to petroleum, heavy equipment, fleet, marine, or generator maintenance
