Senior Compliance & Anti-Money Laundry Officer

Job description

• Develop, implement, and maintain a proactive compliance and AML framework aligned with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and the company’s operating model.
• Oversee compliance monitoring activities, risk assessments, and control testing to identify gaps, emerging risks, and areas for improvement.
• Review, update, and enhance compliance and AML policies, procedures, and controls to ensure ongoing effectiveness and regulatory alignment.
• Support the implementation of annual compliance, awareness, training, and monitoring plans, including AML training for employees and relevant stakeholders.
• Conduct risk-based AML assessments across products, services, customer segments, and geographies to identify and mitigate financial crime risks.
• Perform sanctions and PEP screening, transaction monitoring, and suspicious activity investigations, and escalate matters in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Support the handling of regulatory requests, production orders, reporting obligations, and timely submission of compliance and AML reports to management, regulators, and other stakeholders.
• Advise business leaders and internal stakeholders on compliance, AML, sanctions, and regulatory matters, and support the design and implementation of effective remediation actions.
• Collaborate with Legal, Internal Controls, and other relevant functions to ensure compliance obligations are properly embedded into business processes and new initiatives.
• Review new projects, products, and initiatives from a compliance and AML perspective and provide clear recommendations and sign-offs where required.
• Track remediation actions, follow up on outstanding issues, and report progress to relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare clear, accurate, and timely reports, presentations, and other materials for management, board, and regulatory purposes.
• Support anti-bribery and corruption, trade sanctions, and other related compliance programs as required.
