Job description

Responsibilities:

• Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, cost plans, and BOQs based on design drawings and specifications.
• Review architectural, structural, MEP, and infrastructure drawings for accurate measurement and cost assessment.
• Monitor design development and assess the cost impact of design changes.
• Support value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.
• Prepare tender documentation, pricing schedules, and tender analysis reports.
• Review and evaluate contractors' commercial submissions and identify pricing discrepancies and risks.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams to ensure cost alignment with the project budget.

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience, with strong pre-contract QS experience.
• Previous experience in an Engineering/Design Consultancy is highly preferred.
• Strong experience in cost planning, estimation, BOQ preparation, tendering, tender evaluation, and value engineering.
• Excellent knowledge of construction costs, measurement methods, and market rates.
• Strong Excel skills; experience with AutoCAD/BIM/Revit is an advantage.
• KSA/GCC experience is preferred.
