Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our dynamic engineering team in Cairo. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of software quality through rigorous testing methodologies, automation, and continuous improvement practices. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify, isolate, and document defects while advocating for user-centric quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for complex software applications.
• Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and integration testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using industry-standard bug-tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and quality standards.
• Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in software quality assurance.
• Analyze root causes of issues and propose effective solutions to enhance system reliability.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 to 6 years of proven experience in a dedicated quality assurance role.
• Strong background in both manual and automated testing processes.
• Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, or JavaScript) for test automation.
• In-depth understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in SQL and database verification.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative technical environment.
