We are seeking an Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager to own collections and cash flow for a fast-growing US company, while leading its bookkeeping team. This role suits senior AR and credit professionals who know how to get balances paid and want a long-term remote role with a US business.

Salary: Top-of-market salary paid in USD

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full AR cycle: invoicing, aging reports, follow-ups, escalations, and collection of remaining balances after project completion
• Chase and resolve outstanding balances from $3k to $20k+, using sound judgment on when and how to escalate
• Work with sales and operations leaders so every completed project gets collected and nothing slips
• Manage the existing bookkeepers and keep the books clean and up to date
• Build and tighten processes, such as payment cadences and transaction classification, so AR and reporting stay accurate
• Present clear AR and cash flow reports to leadership

Candidate Profile

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• 5+ years in accounts receivable, collections, or credit control, with hands-on ownership of the full AR cycle
• Comfortable holding firm, professional conversations about overdue payments
• Experience managing or supervising bookkeepers or junior accountants
• Proficient with QuickBooks and familiar with US accounting practices
• CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent, and experience with project-based billing (construction, home services), are strong pluses
