Role Description The Business Development Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and supporting the preparation of proposals and technical-commercial offers. The Business Development Engineer will collaborate with engineering and project teams to align client requirements with ECB’s services, participate in market research, and analyze sector trends to drive growth. Daily tasks include attending client meetings, coordinating follow-ups, contributing to sales presentations, and maintaining accurate records in CRM or business development tools. The role also requires close coordination with internal stakeholders to support bidding strategies and ensure high-quality, timely responses to client inquiries.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Business Development and New Business Development skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and grow client portfolios.
• Candidates should possess solid Sales and Communication skills to present solutions clearly, negotiate effectively, and maintain professional client relationships.
• Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to interpret market data, evaluate opportunities, and support strategic decision-making.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical, or related discipline) or a closely related field.
• Experience in engineering consultancy, construction, or related industries is highly beneficial.
• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant business development or CRM tools.
• Strong command of English; proficiency in Arabic is required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
