Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site External Auditor role based in our offices in Cairo. The External Auditor will perform audit planning, fieldwork, and testing of financial controls and transactions for a diverse portfolio of clients. Responsibilities include reviewing financial statements, assessing compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and identifying control weaknesses and areas for improvement. The role involves preparing clear audit documentation, drafting reports, and presenting findings and recommendations to client management. The External Auditor will collaborate closely with internal teams and client stakeholders, maintain professional independence and objectivity, and stay current with auditing standards and industry developments.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles, and financial reporting frameworks (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP).
• Strong knowledge of external auditing standards, accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP), and internal control frameworks.
• Proficiency in audit planning, risk assessment, sampling techniques, and evidence gathering.
• Ability to analyze financial data, identify inconsistencies, and draw clear, well-supported conclusions.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and engaging with clients at different levels.
• High attention to detail, professional skepticism, and sound judgment in evaluating financial and operational information.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within audit teams, managing time and priorities under deadlines. Competence with Microsoft Office and audit or accounting software; familiarity with data analytics tools is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CIA are preferred.
• Understanding of the Egyptian regulatory and tax environment, with the ability to apply local requirements alongside international standards.
• Commitment to ethical conduct, confidentiality, and continuous professional development.
