Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Specification Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team.

In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting complex project requirements and translating them into precise technical specifications that guide our design, procurement, and construction phases.

You will act as the bridge between technical design teams and operational stakeholders, ensuring that all project deliverables meet the highest industry standards and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze project scopes to develop comprehensive technical specifications, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and completeness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate design parameters and material requirements into final tender documents.
• Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings to ensure alignment with defined specifications.
• Conduct rigorous quality control checks on documentation to minimize variations and mitigate project risks.
• Maintain a centralized database of technical specifications and updates in accordance with evolving industry codes and local standards.
• Provide expert technical guidance to junior staff and support procurement teams during the bidding process.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Proven track record in managing technical documentation within a large-scale project environment.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret international standards, codes, and local building regulations.
• Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail and process improvement.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in industry-standard CAD software and specification management tools.
• Excellent technical writing skills with the ability to articulate complex engineering concepts clearly.
• Advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate inter-departmental collaboration.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable.
