Senior Primary Design Engineer – Substations

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Primary Design Engineer to join our team and lead the design of high-voltage substations.

Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and review primary design drawings for substations (AIS / GIS)
* Develop and Prepare detailed general layouts
* Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQs) with accurate material take-offs
* Perform equipment sizing and selection (transformers, switchgear, CTs, VTs, etc.)
* Ensure compliance with international standards and client specifications
* Coordinate with secondary, civil, and MEP teams
* Review vendor drawings and technical submittals
* Provide technical support during tendering and project execution
* Conduct design checks and ensure quality of deliverables

Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
* 5–10 years of experience in substation primary design
* Strong knowledge of AIS & GIS substations
* Proficiency in design tools (AutoCAD, etc.)
* Strong technical, communication, and coordination skills
