Senior Mechanical Technical Office Engineer

ASEC Automation is looking for an experienced Mechanical Technical Office & BIM Engineer to join our team.

Job Location: New Cairo , Badr City

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and coordinate mechanical shop drawings in accordance with project specifications and international standards, including ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, IPC, and Egyptian Codes.
• Develop and review technical submittals, ensuring compliance with client requirements and project timelines.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and site execution teams to resolve technical issues and optimize project delivery.
• Conduct site inspections and surveys to collect the required data for schematic design and design development.
• Review and interpret contract documents, specifications, and client requirements to ensure accurate implementation.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for the selection and approval of mechanical materials and equipment.
• Support testing and commissioning activities by preparing the required documentation and providing technical guidance.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of technical office activities, drawings, and correspondence.
• Ensure all mechanical engineering deliverables comply with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is a must.
• 4–6 years of proven experience in a Technical Office role within the MEP or Electromechanical Contracting sector is a must.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems design, shop drawings, and technical submittals.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
