Technical Office Engineer
Location: El Qattamiya, Cairo
Industry: Furniture Manufacturing
Key Responsibilities
Design and model natural wood furniture according to project requirements.
Prepare shop drawings, approval drawings, and detailed production drawings with complete manufacturing details.
Develop technical documentation, cutting lists, and material optimization reports.
Coordinate with the Design, Production, and Project Management teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Review project specifications and ensure compliance with manufacturing standards.
Provide technical support throughout the production process and resolve engineering issues.
Review and optimize manufacturing details to improve quality and production efficiency.
Maintain and update technical documentation and drawing revisions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Applied Arts or an equivalent discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and modeling natural wood furniture.
Extensive experience in preparing shop drawings, approval drawings, and detailed production drawings.
Strong knowledge of natural wood finishing systems and various types of wood coatings.
Solid understanding of furniture manufacturing processes and production techniques.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Cultist Plus FX.
Experience with Rhino 3D is a plus.
