• Your most recent 3+ years are with a contractor (MEP or general contractor), on live building projects
• You prepare shop drawings and coordination drawings yourself, across all three systems: HVAC, firefighting, and plumbing/drainage

If your experience is only with a consultant or design office, we will not consider your application.

The Role

You'll join our Technical Office (Mechanical/MEP) and cover all mechanical systems, not just one. You'll turn IFC design documents into shop drawings and combined-services coordination drawings. You'll also fix clashes before drawings go to site, and keep submittals and registers in order so paperwork never holds up site work.

Reports to: Senior Technical Office Engineer / MEP Manager

What You'll Do

Shop Drawings & Documentation

• Prepare mechanical shop drawings and combined-services coordination drawings in AutoCAD from IFC documents
• Draft RFIs, add consultant comments, and manage revision control
• Keep drawing registers and submittal logs complete and accurate

Design Support & Coordination

• Review material submittals and technical datasheets against project specifications
• Work with the civil, architectural, and electrical technical office teams to fix clashes before drawings go to site
• Check duct and pipe routing, equipment rooms, and shaft layouts

Quantities & Site Support

• Prepare mechanical quantity take-offs for procurement and cost control
• Support as-built drawings and project closeout documents
• Answer site queries quickly and confirm when materials are needed

• Complete registers and accurate revision control

What You Bring

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (Power) and Engineers Syndicate membership
• 5–7 years in a mechanical technical office, covering HVAC, firefighting, and plumbing/drainage on building projects
• At least your last 3 years with a contractor: shop drawings, submittals, and site coordination on live projects
• Expert-level AutoCAD. Revit MEP is a strong plus
• Experience with multi-discipline clash coordination and quantity take-off
• Good English and organized documentation habits
