- Performing routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance for electrical and mechanical equipment and systems.- Operating and maintaining conveyor systems used in shipment sorting, ensuring their continuous operation at maximum efficiency.- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults, identifying root causes, and taking appropriate corrective actions.- Conducting inspections, lubrication, adjustments, calibrations, and replacing necessary spare parts to maintain equipment efficiency and extend its lifespan.- Responding quickly to equipment and conveyor system breakdowns, executing necessary repairs with minimal downtime.- Monitoring the performance of equipment and operational lines, and reporting any issues that may affect operational efficiency.- Implementing preventive maintenance programs according to approved plans and schedules.- Reading and understanding engineering drawings, electrical and mechanical schematics, and using them during maintenance tasks.- Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards during maintenance work.- Coordinating with operations teams to ensure workflow continuity and minimize any impact on shipment sorting operations.- Documenting completed maintenance and repair work, and reporting spare parts or equipment needs.
