Job Purpose:

To ensure that all food and beverage ingredients processed at ofi Egypt meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. The QC Executive plays a critical role in maintaining product integrity and supporting continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Control

• Conduct inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished goods.

• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.

Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain accurate records of quality checks, deviations, and corrective actions.

• Ensure compliance with local regulations, customer requirements, and ofi’s internal standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO, FSSC).

Process Improvement

• Identify quality issues and participate in root cause analysis.

• Recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with production, maintenance, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related issues.

• Support audits and customer visits by providing relevant documentation and insights.

Training & Development

• Assist in training plant staff on quality procedures and food safety protocols.

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field.

• 1–3 years of experience in quality control within the food or ingredients industry.

• Familiarity with food safety standards and regulatory frameworks.

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

• Proficiency in MS Office and laboratory software.
