Job Title: Design Senior Engineer.

Sector/Business Line: EEBMS.

Scope: Engineering Services.

Department: Engineering.

Accountabilities:

• Lead review of mechanical drawings, calculations, specifications, material proposals and contractor-designed elements against project requirements.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary comments and resolve technical interfaces before information is released for construction.
• Manage technical queries and design clarifications and ensure responses are timely, traceable and within delegated authority.
• Evaluate constructability, maintainability, operability and code compliance and document clear recommendations.
• Monitor design deliverable status, revision control and closure of comments and escalate information constraints.
• Support technical assessment of changes, value-engineering proposals and substitutions without assuming the designer’s or contractor’s responsibility.
• Support site teams, testing, commissioning and as-built review on discipline-specific technical matters.
• Comply with the project HSE plan, applicable legal requirements and PMCM HSE procedures.
• Stop, report and escalate unsafe conditions or activities in accordance with delegated authority and project procedures.
• Participate in risk assessments, inspections, incident learning and corrective-action follow-up relevant to the role.
• Promote safe behavior, environmental protection and proper housekeeping in all supervised or reviewed activities.

Direct Manager: Engineering Manager.

Education Background:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant experience, including experience on comparable construction or infrastructure projects.
• Experience in a PMCM/PMC or consultant-side role on multidisciplinary projects of comparable scale and complexity.
• Relevant professional registration or certification where required by applicable law or Client requirements.
• Strong technical writing, meeting and formal-correspondence capability in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant discipline-specific engineering, review or reporting applications.
• Familiarity with common data environments, dashboards, BIM/model review or project controls systems, as applicable.
