• Assist in the implementation of health and safety programs and related training for staff and students. • Monitor and evaluate the general work environment to ensure compliance with health and safety standards. • Assist in conducting risk assessments, documenting findings, and providing recommendations for improvement. • Monitor the use and storage of chemicals and hazardous materials and ensure compliance with safety guidelines. • Assist in investigations of accidents and injuries, document findings, and provide recommendations to prevent recurrence. • Provide guidance, technical support, and training to health and safety teams and staff in the areas of health and safety. • Ensure that all control measures listed in the risk assessment are implemented before and during work. • Conduct periodic inspections of university workplaces and report any risks in the work environment. • Periodically inspect equipment, tools used, and emergency devices and tools. • Place occupational health and safety signs throughout the university and ensure their validity. • Periodically inspect all firefighting and alarm systems and follow up on their maintenance. • Manage records related to hazardous waste and submit them to the supervisor. • Perform any additional new tasks assigned by management that are within the same specialty and nature of daily work.
