Role Description The Junior Architect will support the design team in developing architectural concepts, preparing drawings, and producing detailed design documentation for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in design development,

coordinating with engineers and other project stakeholders, and contributing to construction documentation and revisions. The role involves using industry-standard software to create plans, sections, elevations, and 3D visualizations, while ensuring alignment with project requirements, regulations, and quality standards. The Junior Architect will also help track project progress, organize project files, and participate in internal reviews and client meetings as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt.

(Night Shift 5PM to 11 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• 3D Modeling & Development: Build and update detailed architectural building information models in Revit following project standards, templates, and required Level of Development (LOD).

• Drawing Production: Assist in extracting and preparing clear floor plans, elevations, sections, shop drawings, and submittal documentation from the BIM model + Ability to work with 2D CAD

• Multidisciplinary Coordination: Help align architectural models with structural and MEP

(Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) services to maintain data consistency.

• Clash Detection Support: Assist senior engineers in identifying and reporting spatial conflicts or constructability issues using tools like Navisworks.

• Workflow Assistance: Update drawings from markups, manage family libraries, and support team leaders with data.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture

• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and fundamental CAD drafting via AutoCAD.

• Knowledge Base: Basic understanding of architectural details, construction drawings, submittals, and standard BIM workflows.

• Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail, a strong willingness to learn new digital workflows, and effective communication skills for multidisciplinary team collaboration.
