Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in Cairo, Egypt. The Pharmacist will dispense prescription and over‑the‑counter medications accurately, provide medication counseling, and ensure safe and appropriate use of medicines. Responsibilities include reviewing prescriptions, checking for drug interactions, maintaining proper storage and inventory of pharmaceutical products, and supporting day‑to‑day pharmacy operations. The role involves advising customers on health and personal care products, collaborating with colleagues to deliver high-quality patient service, and adhering to regulatory, ethical, and company standards. Pharmacists are also expected to contribute to health awareness initiatives and uphold El Ezaby Pharmacy’s commitment to exceptional customer care.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist with a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution; eligibility to practice pharmacy in Egypt.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, dosage calculations, and pharmaceutical regulations.
• Proficiency in patient counseling, customer service, and clear, empathetic communication with diverse individuals.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications, documentation, and prescription review.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment, including teamwork, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with pharmacy management or point-of-sale systems.
• Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, and continuous professional development and training.
• Previous experience in community or retail pharmacy is preferred; fluency in Arabic and good command of English are beneficial.
