Role Description The Senior Mechanical Technical Office Engineer is a full-time, on-site role. This role is responsible for preparing and reviewing mechanical designs, shop drawings, and technical submittals, ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards, and client requirements. The engineer coordinates with project teams, consultants, and suppliers to resolve technical issues, optimize designs, and support procurement activities. Day-to-day tasks include performing technical calculations, reviewing equipment selections, preparing material take-offs, and supporting value engineering initiatives to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The role also involves providing technical guidance to junior engineers, supporting site teams with design clarifications, and contributing to quality assurance and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Extensive experience in technical office work for mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, or similar), preferably in construction projects is a MUST.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and relevant codes and standards.
• Proficiency with engineering and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, relevant mechanical design tools) is a MUST.
