Role Description The Building Management Systems Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Giza. This role is responsible for the design, configuration, commissioning, and maintenance of Building Management Systems (BMS) to ensure optimal performance of HVAC, lighting, safety, and other building services. Daily activities include monitoring system operations, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, updating control strategies, and coordinating with facility management teams and contractors. The engineer will prepare technical documentation, reports, and system logs, and support energy efficiency initiatives and system upgrades. Collaboration with project teams to integrate new systems, comply with standards, and improve overall building performance is an essential part of the position.
Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Building Management and Building Management Systems, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Practical experience with Management Systems and Building Services, covering HVAC, electrical, and life safety systems.
• Knowledge of Facility Management (FM) practices, including preventive maintenance, asset management, and building performance optimization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related engineering field.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, control diagrams, and specifications.
• Proficiency with relevant BMS software platforms, automation tools, and field devices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and system reliability.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site in Giza.
• Experience in commissioning, testing, and handover of building systems is an advantage.
• Familiarity with energy efficiency standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices is beneficial.
