TDS is looking for an experienced Technical Office Engineer specializing in woodworks and doors to join our team.

Location: 159 Al Andalus, New Cairo, opposite Mivida Gate 1.

Required Experience: Minimum 2 years.

Salary: Based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shop Drawings: Prepare and review detailed drawings, sections, and manufacturing and installation details.
• Cutting Lists: Prepare accurate cutting lists based on approved shop drawings, verifying dimensions, materials, and quantities.
• Estimation: Prepare cost estimates for woodworks and doors, including materials, hardware, labor, and manufacturing costs.
• Material Lists: Prepare detailed lists of required materials, specifications, and quantities for procurement and production.
• Fabrication Orders: Prepare fabrication orders based on approved drawings and cutting lists, and coordinate with production teams.
• Quantity Takeoffs & BOQs: Calculate quantities and prepare Bills of Quantities in accordance with project drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with production and installation teams, resolve technical issues, and update drawings and documents to reflect approved changes.

Requirements:

• Previous technical office experience in woodworks, particularly doors and architectural joinery.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and technical details.
• Good knowledge of wood materials, hardware, manufacturing processes, assembly methods, and installation requirements.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
