Al-Raed Contracting and Architectural Finishes Company

announces the opening for a Business Development Officer to join our team, with the aim of attracting new opportunities and projects and expanding the company's client base in the contracting and architectural finishes sector.

Job Responsibilities

• Searching for new business opportunities in ongoing construction projects.
• Conducting site visits to projects to introduce the company, its services, and its portfolio.
• Building professional relationships with contracting companies, real estate developers, project managers, and procurement officers.
• Identifying project needs related to contracting and architectural finish works.
• Obtaining Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and project-specific information.
• Following up with clients, business opportunities, and quotations through to negotiation and contracting stages in coordination with company management.
• Preparing periodic reports on visits, new opportunities, and follow-up results.

Terms and Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of experience in sales or business development within the construction sector.
• Prior experience in one of the following fields is preferred:
• Construction chemicals and building materials companies.
• Gypsum board and suspended ceiling systems companies.
• Paints and architectural coatings companies such as Jotun or equivalent.
• Insulation, epoxy, and finishing materials companies.
• Contracting and architectural finishes companies.
• Experience in dealing directly with projects and contracting companies (Project Sales / B2B).
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Must own a private vehicle.
• An engineering degree is an added advantage but not a requirement for application.
