Job description

• Lead and manage the technical team, including work allocation, planning, and technical task assignments.
• Take overall technical responsibility for the delivery of assigned engineering and services projects.
• Provide technical guidance to the Pre-Sales team during the proposal phase.
• Provide technical input and implementation scenarios to the Project Manager to support project planning and installation scheduling.
• Attend project technical meetings, including Kick-Off Meetings (KOM), clarification meetings, and other client/consultant meetings.
• Ensure assigned projects are delivered within the planned schedule, cost, and scope.
• Ensure compliance with applicable quality, engineering, software, and installation standards across all project activities.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager on design clarifications, Technical Queries (TQs), and Requests for Information (RFIs).
• Supervise and review engineering software and hardware design documents prepared by the technical team.
• Assign engineers to project documentation, design, implementation, and technical applications.
• Supervise testing activities, including internal testing, workshop testing, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members throughout project execution.
• Coach, motivate, and develop team members to improve technical performance and achieve better results.
• Review weekly progress reports submitted by team members and address technical or operational issues.
• Prepare and submit weekly technical progress reports to the Technical Manager.
• Monitor team workload and report the team's resource utilization and loading status to the Technical Manager on a monthly basis.
• Monitor project technical performance and proactively identify and resolve technical issues and risks.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination between the technical team, project management, clients, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Support knowledge-sharing and contribute to the review of system requirements, system delivery specifications, user procedures, and training documentation.
