Role Purpose
The Pricing Specialist at Vodafone is responsible for developing and implementing competitive pricing strategies that maximize profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. This role involves analysing market trends, evaluating competitive pricing, and working closely with various departments to ensure that Vodafone's pricing structures align with business objectives and market conditions.

Role Purpose
The Pricing Specialist at Vodafone is responsible for developing and implementing competitive pricing strategies that maximize profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. This role involves analysing market trends, evaluating competitive pricing, and working closely with various departments to ensure that Vodafone's pricing structures align with business objectives and market conditions.
Key Accountabilities
- Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify pricing opportunities and threats
- Pricing Strategy Development: Develop and implement pricing strategies for products and services that align with Vodafone's business goals
- Competitive Benchmarking: Monitor competitor pricing and market trends to ensure Vodafone remains competitive
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, finance, and product teams to develop and execute pricing strategies
- Pricing Reviews and Implementation: Regularly review and adjust pricing models based on market conditions, cost structures, and business objectives
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyse complex data and market trends to inform pricing strategies
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous in ensuring pricing accuracy and consistency
- Communication and Negotiation Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting findings with the ability to negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Problem-Solving: Proactive in identifying and resolving pricing-related issues
- Technological Proficiency: Proficient in using data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, Economics, Finance or a related field. A master’s degree or professional qualification in a related discipline is a plus
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or a related field within the telecommunications or a similar industry
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau) and pricing software
