About the role

Haid Egypt Co. LTD is looking for a full-time Tax Accountant to join our team in Sadat City. You will be responsible for managing the company's tax obligations and making sure all filings are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and file tax returns, including VAT, corporate income tax, payroll tax, and withholding tax
• Calculate tax liabilities and maintain accurate tax records and supporting documents
• Ensure compliance with Egyptian tax laws and regulations, and keep up with legislative changes
• Coordinate with the Egyptian Tax Authority and handle tax inspections, queries, and audits
• Reconcile tax accounts with the general ledger and support month-end and year-end closing
• Work with the accounting and HR teams to ensure invoices, payroll, and contracts are tax-compliant

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field
• Practical experience in tax accounting and Egyptian tax filing
• Good knowledge of Egyptian tax legislation and procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• English language skills at B1 level or above
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines
