*Operate and adjust conventional lathes to perform required turning work.* Manufacture, repair, and modify spare parts and mold components according to drawings and technical specifications.* Perform various turning operations such as: external and internal turning, facing, drilling, threading, and boring.* Read and understand engineering and technical drawings and determine the required dimensions and tolerances.* Use measuring tools such as Vernier Calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy.* Select and set up the appropriate cutting tools for each operation and adjust operating speeds and feed rates.* Inspect parts during and after machining and ensure they comply with the required dimensions and specifications.* Perform repair and refurbishment work on glass mold parts in coordination with the mold workshop technicians.
