About Aventura Travel Agency
Aventura Travel Agency is a UAE-based travel business committed to delivering high-quality travel services and exceptional customer experiences. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant based in Cairo office, to support our Dubai office with daily accounting activities, financial reporting, reconciliations, and operational finance processes.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Support the Dubai office with day-to-day financial and accounting operations.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
• Perform bank reconciliations, supplier reconciliations, and customer account reconciliations.
• Monitor outstanding customer balances, supplier payments, and collections, ensuring timely follow-up.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports, management accounts, and cash flow statements.
• Reconcile travel-related transactions, including customer bookings, supplier invoices, hotel reservations, airline tickets, and other travel services.
• Verify invoices, payment requests, expense claims, and supporting documentation before processing.
• Coordinate with the Dubai management and operations teams to ensure accurate financial records and timely reporting.
• Assist with budgeting, expense monitoring, and cost-control activities.
• Maintain organized accounting records and ensure proper documentation for audits and internal reviews.
• Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations, VAT requirements, and financial procedures applicable to the business.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities and other finance-related assignments as required.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience; experience in travel, tourism, hospitality, or a service-based business is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Familiarity with UAE VAT requirements and accounting practices is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software or ERP systems.
• Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with a Dubai-based team while working from Cairo.
• Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work independently with minimal supervision.

• Good written and spoken English.
