Collection Specialist / Senior Collection Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
Manage collection activities and follow up on outstanding insurance claims and payments.
Maintain strong relationships with insurance companies and healthcare payers.
Monitor AR aging, identify overdue balances, and resolve payment discrepancies.
Coordinate with internal teams to resolve rejected claims, deductions, and payment disputes.
Prepare collection reports and monitor collection targets.
Escalate delayed payments and support cash flow improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Previous experience in collections or accounts receivable within the healthcare industry.
Strong experience dealing with insurance companies and managing insurance receivables is essential.
Good understanding of insurance claims, payment cycles, and reconciliation.
Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
