Principal Accountabilities:

• Assist in preparing S- Line Diagrams (SLDs), general layout drawings, equipment arrangement plans, and related design documentation.
• Support cable routing, grounding calculations, earthing and lightning protection design, under guidance from senior engineers.
• Assist in sizing calculations for electrical equipment (cables, transformers, DGs, circuit breakers, etc.).
• Collaborate with other disciplines (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Environmental) to ensure coordinated designs.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards (IEC, IEEE, NFPA), and internal procedures.
• Participate in evaluating supplier technical offers and provide input to senior engineers.
• Assist in problem-solving and technical decision-making within the Electrical discipline.
• Continuously learn and apply company procedures and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
• 0-2 years of working experience, preferably with internship, formal training. or project exposure in electrical design of HV substations.
• Basic understanding of electrical design standards and codes (IEC, IEEE, NFPA).
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn
