Power House Egypt is hiring “Gas Compressor Section Head (Mechanical Maintenance Engineer)”

Job Summary:

Responsible for leading and supervising gas compressor maintenance, troubleshooting, overhaul, inspection, testing, and commissioning activities, with strong focus on Ariel and Dresser-Rand reciprocating compressors.

Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise maintenance, troubleshooting, overhaul, and testing of gas compressors.

· Strong technical involvement with Ariel & Dresser-Rand compressors.

· Lead preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities.

· Conduct failure analysis and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

· Ensure compressor reliability, availability, and safe operation.

· Supervise field and workshop maintenance teams.

· Review maintenance procedures, technical reports, and test results.

· Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Projects teams.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

· 5+ years of relevant experience in gas compressor maintenance.

· Proven experience with Ariel and/or Dresser-Rand reciprocating compressors.

· Strong troubleshooting, maintenance, testing, and overhaul experience.

· Good leadership and team management skills.

· Oil & Gas / Petroleum Services experience is preferred.

Software:

· Waukesha Engine Control systems.

· Arial systems.

· Dresser systems.
