Technical Documentation & Design Coordination:

• Prepare and review mechanical shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and industry standards.

Procurement & Material Management:

• Prepare and review Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and material take-offs.

• Assist in selecting, procuring, and tracking mechanical materials and equipment.

• Ensure timely delivery of materials through coordination with suppliers and vendors.

• Maintain and update material submittals and approvals logs.

Compliance & Quality Assurance:

• Ensure all mechanical works comply with MEP standards and regulatory requirements.

• Support testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems.

• Maintain proper documentation for inspections, approvals, and compliance records.

Cost Control & Budgeting:

• Assist in preparing cost estimates and project budgets.

• Monitor variations and support claims preparation.

• Coordinate with the finance team for cost tracking and reporting.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• 3-7 years of experience in MEP construction (min 3 years in contracting or consultancy).

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP (preferred), and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.

• Familiarity with industry standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, etc.).

• Knowledge of project scheduling, procurement processes, and cost control.
