Role Description The Senior Storekeeper is responsible for overseeing all inventory and stock control activities within WOROOD’s operations in New Cairo. This full-time, on-site role includes receiving, inspecting, and organizing incoming merchandise; maintaining accurate stock records; and ensuring proper storage conditions for luxury fashion items and accessories. The Senior Storekeeper regularly conducts stock counts, reconciles discrepancies, and coordinates with purchasing, logistics, and retail teams to support smooth store and warehouse operations. The role also involves monitoring stock levels, preparing inventory reports, optimizing storage space, and enforcing company policies related to handling, labeling, and safeguarding products. The Senior Storekeeper may supervise junior store staff, provide training on stock management procedures, and support continuous process improvement to maintain high standards of efficiency and care.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management, stock control, and warehouse operations within retail, fashion, or a similar product-focused environment.
• Strong skills in record-keeping, documentation, and data entry, with the ability to use inventory management systems or ERP software.
• Ability to conduct physical stock counts, reconcile variances, and implement procedures that reduce loss, damage, and stock discrepancies.
• Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and manage multiple stock movements efficiently.
• Knowledge of proper storage, handling, and packaging practices for high-quality fabrics, garments, and accessories.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with purchasing, logistics, sales, and management teams.
• Previous experience supervising or guiding store or warehouse staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Comfort with basic numerical and analytical tasks, including creating simple stock reports and tracking key inventory metrics.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining accurate records and safeguarding company assets.
• Relevant diploma or degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or a related field is preferred; additional training in inventory or warehouse management is an advantage.
• Familiarity with luxury or fashion products and an appreciation for quality, craftsmanship
