Position: Pod Lead Material Science
Type: Contract
Compensation: $15 $28 per hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 20 40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
Lead a team of 5 10 technical trainers for AI training tasks
Develop and review scientific tasks ensuring technical accuracy
Ensure reproducibility and quality of scientific code and research outputs
Mentor team members and provide technical guidance
Analyze simulations and evaluate results for scientific integrity
Collaborate with stakeholders to refine training materials
Document processes and findings for future reference
Requirements
Ph.D. or equivalent advanced expertise in Materials Science
Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, Fortran, or Julia
Expertise in atomistic simulation or computational thermodynamics
Experience in reviewing scientific code and simulations
Previous leadership or mentoring experience in technical teams
Strong analytical and written communication skills
Proficient in Linux/terminal interface for development tasks
