Position: Pod Lead Chemistry Science

Type: Contract

Compensation: $15 - $28 per hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 20 - 40 hours/week


Role Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of trainers developing Chemistry tasks for AI training
  • Review tasks for chemical accuracy, reproducibility, and safety
  • Mentor trainers while ensuring high-quality delivery of tasks
  • Analyze and evaluate training content for grader reliability
  • Provide guidance on programming standards and practices
  • Collaborate with teams on computational chemistry methodologies
  • Communicate findings and updates to project stakeholders


Requirements

  • Ph.D. or equivalent advanced expertise in Chemistry
  • Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, Julia, or Fortran
  • Hands-on experience with computational chemistry methods
  • Previous experience leading or mentoring technical teams
  • Ability to review code and analyses effectively
  • Strong analytical and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Linux/terminal environments
