eMagine are engaged with a global engineering consultancy (50,000+ employees) who are hiring a Senior Landscape Architect to strengthen design leadership on high-profile UAE projects. This is a client-facing role for someone who can bring confidence, structure, and delivery discipline across public realm landscapes, especially parks and beach projects, from concept through technical design and implementation support.

The role is based in Cairo, with an expat package available, and regular travel to the UAE for key stakeholder workshops and project milestones.

The opportunity This role sits at the intersection of design excellence and delivery. You’ll help translate early concepts into robust, buildable packages, guide multi-office teams, and keep stakeholders aligned as projects move at pace.

Key responsibilities

• Lead landscape design across international public realm projects (public parks, beaches, waterfronts, civic spaces)
• Own stakeholder engagement: workshops, presentations, design reviews, and managing demanding client groups (including public sector stakeholders)
• Drive end-to-end delivery: concept development through to technical design packages and coordinated outputs
• Ensure quality, technical integrity, and timely delivery across multiple projects simultaneously
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, planners, BIM/digital teams, and external consultants
• Mentor and guide designers/architects to raise design standards and consistency
• Support design narratives, graphics, and presentation storytelling to build client confidence

What we’re looking for

• 12–15+ years’ experience in landscape architecture, including leadership/management exposure
• Strong track record delivering public realm and high-end developments, ideally including parks and beach projects
• Proven ability to operate confidently in client-facing, stakeholder-heavy environments
• Experience working across multi-office and multi-discipline teams, with the ability to manage scope changes without losing programme control
• Strong technical understanding (you don’t need to be producing every drawing, but you must know what “good” looks like and how to get it delivered)
• English is essential (written, verbal, presentation). Arabic is a bonus
• MENA experience is strongly preferred
• Comfortable with travel and fast-moving delivery expectations
