Role Description The Accountant role at TOVANA is a full-time, on-site position based in Giza. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and preparing financial reports. The Accountant will handle accounts payable and receivable, support budgeting and cost control activities, and assist with monthly and annual closing procedures. The role also involves reconciling bank statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations, and coordinating with internal teams and external auditors as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Record and review daily accounting transactions and journal entries.
• Follow up on accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Review invoices and supporting financial documents.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and financial reports.
• Support monthly and annual closing activities.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of taxation and e-invoicing is preferred.
• Good command of English.
