ECB is looking for an experienced and motivated Contract Engineer to join our team.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Contract Engineering within the construction field.
• Must be currently residing in Cairo, Egypt.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration and construction contract management.
• Good understanding of FIDIC Conditions of Contract.
• Proficiency in using FIDIC contract forms and relevant contract management tools.
• Good knowledge of claims management, variation orders, and contractual correspondence.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively with project teams and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze contract documents, specifications, and conditions to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Administer construction contracts in accordance with FIDIC Conditions of Contract.
• Prepare, review, and manage contractual correspondence and notices.
• Review and assess variation orders and change requests.
• Monitor contractual obligations and ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
• Assist in the preparation, evaluation, and submission of claims.
• Identify contractual risks and potential disputes and recommend appropriate actions.
• Review and follow up on Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, consultants, and other stakeholders on contractual matters.
• Maintain proper records of contractual documents, notices, claims, and variations.
