Role Description The Senior Tendering & Procurement Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Giza. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end tendering process, including reviewing project specifications, preparing technical and commercial offers, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate and competitive bids. Day-to-day tasks include sourcing and evaluating suppliers, preparing and issuing requests for quotation (RFQs), negotiating terms and prices, and preparing purchase orders in line with project requirements and company policies. The role involves analyzing bids and proposals, maintaining procurement records, and ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and timeline objectives. The Senior Tendering & Procurement Engineer will collaborate closely with engineering, finance, and project management teams to support successful project execution and cost-effective procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the tendering process from receiving tender documents through final submission.
• Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project requirements.
• Prepare and issue RFQs to suppliers and subcontractors.
• Evaluate and compare technical and commercial quotations.
• Prepare cost breakdowns, tender pricing, and commercial offers.
• Negotiate prices and commercial terms with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with technical and project teams to ensure accurate tender submissions.
• Identify and evaluate new suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare purchase orders and subcontract agreements.
• Follow up on procurement activities, deliveries, and supplier performance.
• Maintain updated supplier databases and pricing records.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil Engineering.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in tendering and procurement.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, BOQs, pricing, and subcontracting.
• Experience in commercial projects is a plus.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet tight deadlines.
