Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role based in Giza. The Mechanical Engineer will participate in the design, review, and implementation of mechanical systems for construction and contracting projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and updating mechanical drawings and specifications, coordinating with CAD technicians, and reviewing technical submittals. The role involves supporting site installation and commissioning, resolving mechanical issues, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. The Mechanical Engineer will collaborate with project managers, other engineers, and site teams to track progress, manage documentation, and contribute to cost and time optimization.

Qualifications

• Strong Mechanical Engineering foundation, including applied mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials.
• Proficiency in Machine Design and ability to develop or review mechanical components and systems.
• Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for drawings, layouts, and 3D models.
• Project Management skills for planning, scheduling, coordination, and documentation within multidisciplinary teams.
• Research and Development (R&D) capabilities to evaluate new technologies, materials, and methods for mechanical solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Ability to work on-site, collaborate effectively with diverse teams, and communicate clearly in written and spoken form.
• Experience in construction or contracting projects is an advantage.
• Familiarity with basic cost estimation, quality control procedures, and reporting tools is beneficial.
